Job summary

Providence Regional Medical Center Everett is seeking a dedicated operator to answer the hospital's main phone line, physician's answering service, and in-house calls. The role includes visitor information, reception, and paging to support patient flow and staff coordination.

Responsibilities include coordinating emergency communications (Trauma Codes, Codes Red/Blue, NICU and helicopter arrivals), monitoring alarm panels, and operating two-way radios; participation in Fire and Disaster drills

Qualifications

  • Previous switchboard experience in healthcare setting.
  • Answering service experience or answering phones at large organizations.

  • Provide in person visitor information, reception and paging.
  • Coordinate emergency communications including Trauma Codes, Codes Red/Blue and helicopter landing.

  • Handle fire and disaster drills as part of communications operations.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
