The PBX Operator / Receptionist is responsible for answering the switchboard, paging overhead, greeting visitors, and directing people to appropriate departments. The PBX operator monitors hospital alarms and must be familiar with policies and procedures for all emergency codes. Must communicate effectively with the population served.
