Job summary

RTX is seeking a Payroll Portfolio Lead to join the Enterprise Services Business Solutions PMO/Transformation Organization. The role oversees Payroll and Timekeeping project activities, partners with senior leaders, and drives value delivery across complex programs.

Hybrid work arrangement and US travel are required, with a focus on timely, compliant deployments. The successful candidate will manage relationships with Global Process Owner and BRM, guide prioritization, and craft executive-ready

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience.
• 7+ years of experience leading complex projects or programs, within Payroll/Timekeeping or Enterprise Operations.
• Experience overseeing technology implementations, including end‑to‑end deployments from requirements gathering through testing, go‑live, and stabilization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project managers on the execution of Payroll and Timekeeping project activities, including project schedules, key decisions, resource allocation, financials, requirements, issues, risks, and dependencies.
• Address complex issues and challenges within projects, including tactful executive escalations and driving critical decisions.
• Collaborate closely with the Global Process Owner and Business Relationship Manager (BRM).
• Assist PMO Director with capital projects submittals and working with leadership on project prioritization.
• Develop compelling materials to communicate the project's value delivery story clearly and effectively to senior and executive leaders.
• Build trust and foster collaborative relationships with digital and functional executive sponsors, ensuring alignment with their strategic interests and viewpoints.
• Anticipated Travel: ~20% within US
