Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of payroll tax experience.
  • 2+ years in payroll tax compliance in a USA multistate environment.
  • Knowledge of Workday and ADP SmartCompliance preferred.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities with tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Customer-oriented with troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook, Word.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations and quarterly filings.
  • Prepare W-2s and W‑2C documentation; adjust wage and tax withholdings.
  • Research agency notices and respond to government authorities.
  • Enter wage and tax adjustments in Workday for various payroll tax scenarios.
  • Assist with audits and tax elections for new hires and transfers.
  • Support visa tax requirements and reciprocal state agreements.
  • Contribute to tax-related communications and coordination with Tax Coordinator.
