Our client, [Industry Descriptor] is seeking a Payroll Tax Manager to join their team. As a Payroll Tax Manager, you will be part of the Payroll Operations Team supporting the Global Payroll Director and cross-functional partners. The ideal candidate will have strong payroll tax leadership, a meticulous approach to multi-jurisdictional compliance, and the confidence to troubleshoot complex payroll tax data end-to-end.

What's the Job?
- Serve as a subject matter expert and leader for Payroll Tax, State Unemployment, Workers Comp., and Escheatment across a large, multi-entity environment.
- Oversee payroll tax support and administration for federal legal entities (25+), individual states (250+), and local tax jurisdictions (75+), ensuring payroll tax is funded and reported accurately and on time.
- Partner with managed services providers to verify, reconcile, and troubleshoot pay-related tax data; support tax account applications, monitoring, and resolution of over- and under-payments.
- Support corporate accounting by resolving payroll tax and G/L reconciliations timely and accurately, including preparation of supporting documentation for audits.
- Ensure all tax reporting and filings are accurate and completed within required deadlines, including locals, Workers Comp., escheatment, W2 review, and related analyses.
What's Needed?
- Minimum 10 years of payroll tax, auditing and/or related experience in a large ($1B+), multi-national, multi-legal entity corporation.
- 7+ years utilizing payroll systems to create, analyze, and troubleshoot data.
- Experience with SAP Financials, ADP GlobalView, Ceridian DayForce, and SuccessFactors HR preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines.
- Ability to research, interpret, and apply federal, state, and local payroll and employment tax regulations, including understanding reporting implications.
