Our client is seeking a Tax Analyst, Corporate Payroll to join their team. As a Tax Analyst, Corporate Payroll, you will be part of the Payroll Division supporting the Corporate Payroll department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Tax Analyst, Corporate Payroll

Location: Tampa, FL

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of payroll tax processing and ensure compliance across multiple states.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll tax practices with professionalism and accuracy.
• Perform audits and reconciliations to maintain accurate employee tax setup and reporting.
• Investigate and resolve variances between payroll systems and tax notices.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams during audits and compliance reviews.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in payroll or related field.
• Experience working with multi-state large employers and garnishment processing.
• Extensive knowledge of payroll & time systems and multi-state tax calculations.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Ability to work in an in-office environment with a flexible schedule to support West Coast hours.
