Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a Payroll/Projects Specialist to provide world-class customer service and management to vendor partners, clients, and teams. You will handle project creation, account configuration changes, technical support, and user training.

Responsibilities include supporting day-to-day activities, gathering payroll information, troubleshooting issues, and documenting requirements across payroll, timekeeping, and workforce systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, HR, payroll, IS, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Experience handling sensitive payroll information and data confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist payroll project teams with day-to-day activities and maintain engagement.
• Gather payroll information from stakeholders.
• Support senior analysts in troubleshooting payroll issues.
• Provide expert guidance on payroll applications to new managers.
• Document new business requirements and configure payroll/timekeeping/workforce systems.
• Collaborate with HR, field managers and tech teams for readiness and go-lives.
• Execute weekly processes accurately within deadlines.
• Investigate payroll/system issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Identify process inefficiencies and opportunities for simplification.
• Maintain project plans and training materials.
• Ensure confidentiality per payroll policies.
