• Supervise HR payroll assistants, including on‑the‑job training for Central Office staff.
• Assist payroll manager in reviewing journal entries, back pays, and final payrolls for accuracy.
• Maintain personnel files and computer-based HR records/databases.
• Develop spreadsheets and databases with complex formulas and tracking.
• Assist with orientation of new employees.
• Facilitate benefit programs, including open enrollment and qualifying events.
• Process agency overtime and assist onboarding of new hires.
• Explain benefits to employees.
