CFS is seeking a Payroll Supervisor to lead a payroll team in a growing organization based in Wisconsin. The role combines hands-on payroll ownership with leadership responsibilities across multiple locations and HR partners.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in payroll leadership role.
• Experience processing multi-state payroll in a high-volume environment.
• Degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Strong payroll administration background.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support two Payroll Specialists.
• Process and oversee multi-state payroll operations.
• Set up and maintain state payroll tax accounts; liaise with ADP for issues and support.
• Partner with onsite HR to resolve payroll concerns.
• Drive payroll process improvements and efficiencies.
• Serve as backup payroll processor for 1–2 groups.

Key Responsibilities For The Payroll Supervisor

• Lead and support two Payroll Specialists
• Process and oversee multi-state payroll operations
• Set up and maintain state payroll tax accountsServe as the primary liaison with ADP for payroll-related issues and system support
• Partner with onsite HR administrators to resolve payroll concerns
• Drive payroll process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Serve as backup payroll processor as needed and directly own 1-2 payroll groups

• Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience
• Experience processing multi-state payroll
• Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
