Ledgent-Finance- is seeking a detail-oriented Certified Payroll Specialist for a long-term contract in the South Denver metro area. This hybrid role combines on-site collaboration with remote work, starting ASAP.

The position offers exposure to Certified Payroll and Prevailing Wage processes, with training provided. You will support payroll processing, research discrepancies, and help ensure regulatory compliance within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Strong payroll fundamentals and payroll compliance.
• Certified Payroll and/or Prevailing Wage experience preferred but not required.
• Quick learner with strong problem-solving and research skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Adapt to new processes and systems with ease.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability.
• Hybrid schedule with two in-office days per week; home office setup may be required.
• Training provided on specialized payroll processes.

Salary: USD35 - USD40 per hour

Certified Payroll Specialist (Contract)

Location: South Denver Metro Area (Hybrid)
Schedule: Hybrid - Onsite 2 days per week, Remote 3 days per week
Pay Rate: Up to $40/hour
Duration: Long-term contract through January/February, with potential extension
Start Date: ASAP
