Job summary

Request Foods in Holland, MI is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to oversee weekly hourly payroll for nearly 900 teammates, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls. Reporting to the Payroll Supervisor, you will work with People Services and Finance, handle 401(k) administration, year-end tasks, and respond to payroll inquiries with confidentiality and professionalism.

A degree in accounting/finance or related field and 2+ years of payroll experience are preferred;

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 2+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Knowledge of payroll taxes, deductions, garnishments, and reconciliations.
• Experience with Paycor payroll system preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel for payroll data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process weekly hourly payroll for nearly 900 employees.
• Review timekeeping records, deductions, and discrepancies.
• Prepare payroll-related journal entries and month-end tasks.
• Process 401(k) contributions and related reporting.
• Assist with year-end payroll activities and W-2 processing.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll information.
