Job summary

The role administers modules, processes semi-monthly payroll, reconciles leave, and ensures compliance with CSU and state regulations.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of experience, with strong analytical and training abilities, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of payroll principles, regulations, tax withholding, benefits and retirement administration.
• Ability to train others on new skills and procedures and provide lead work direction.

Responsibilities

• Process semi-monthly payroll for CSUB Auxiliary for SPA and Foundation using ADP.
• Run queries and prepare recurring payroll reports for SPA and Foundation accounting teams.
• Respond to employee and campus‑partner inquiries regarding pay and leave accruals.
• Support unemployment-benefit audits and data requests.
