Job summary

California State University, Bakersfield is seeking a Payroll Professional to manage semi-monthly payroll processing for CSUB Auxiliary entities and to ensure accuracy in time & attendance, leave balances, and deductions. You will work with PeopleSoft Absence Management and Time & Labor modules, coordinate with SPA/Foundation payroll, and provide guidance to campus partners on procedures.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of payroll experience, with strong analytic skills,

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of relevant experience.
• Advanced degree may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end semi-monthly payroll processing for CSUB Auxiliary for SPA and Foundation using ADP.
• Review, document, and process transactions for hourly and salaried employees and one-time payments.
• Provide training and guidance on established payroll procedures and system processes.
