Qualifications

• Six or more years of payroll experience, with multi-state and certified payroll focus.
• Experience handling large payrolls (3,000+ checks).
• Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fully manage and process multi-state payrolls, certified payrolls, and import payrolls.
• Troubleshoot and resolve timeclock system issues to ensure payroll accuracy.
• Set up and import payroll data, including position rates and payroll imports.
• Provide expert guidance on wage and hour issues for complex payroll scenarios.
• Prepare accurate reports and audits to ensure compliance with company standards and legal requirements.
• Offer advanced support to clients and employees regarding payroll inquiries and issues; assist in escalations with Payroll Manager.
• Assist in training junior payroll specialists and contribute to process improvements.
