Job summary

Asure Software Inc. is seeking a Payroll Specialist II for an on-site role in High Point, NC. You will serve our small business clients, maintain employee payroll records, and ensure accurate payroll processing with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities include processing weekly and semi-monthly payroll, calculating taxes, auditing timekeeping, entering new hires, and generating management reports while delivering timely service in a client-facing SaaS payroll environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years automated payroll systems experience or equivalent accounting experience.
• Previous client-facing payroll experience.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to deliver under tight deadlines or unusual or critical situations.
• Professional presentation of written information, that is clear and effective for success with clients.
• Direct experience in a variety of SaaS payroll systems, and your ability to learn new ones.
• Background of in-house payroll processing experience in a small to mid-sized business is highly preferred but not required.

• Post changes in pay and tax status.
• Process involuntary deductions such as levies and garnishments.
• Prepare special reports for management.

How you will contribute

Our Payroll Specialist II works to serve our small business clients to manage their changing payroll needs. The face of payroll to a dedicated client base, you partner to deliver expert payroll processing and services. Responsible for establishing and maintaining employee payroll records,they own the activities necessary to provide dedicated quality processing services.

• Process weekly, semi-monthly, and custom calendar payroll.

Compensation

The base hourly range for this position is up to $27.00, based on relevant experience, skills, and industry knowledge.
