Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) is seeking a payroll-focused professional to manage weekly payroll, off-cycle and incentive payments, and annual W-2 processing. You will support partners with payroll-related questions and collaborate with finance to ensure tax reporting accuracy.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree plus 2+ years of relevant experience. BGC emphasizes a supportive culture with growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in related field and two or more years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education required.
• Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business in accordance with the BGC Business Driver Policy.

Responsibilities

• Reviews daily time reports and adjusts as needed.
• Processes weekly payroll.
• Reviews wages computed and corrects errors to ensure payroll accuracy.
• Records and processes changes affecting net wages, including exemptions, vacations, bonuses, wage garnishments, and various other deductions.
• Responds to payroll related questions via phone or email.
• Prepares and files federal and state payroll tax reports.
• Processes and reviews W-2 forms annually.
• Processes employee travel expense reimbursements.
• Performs administrative tasks as needed.
