BPM is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our Finance team in a full-time capacity. You will support a growing payroll function, assist with processing, taxes, reporting, and inquiries, and collaborate with Senior Payroll Specialists and HR to improve processes.

This role is ideal for someone with a solid payroll foundation who wants to grow into more complex responsibilities, with a focus on U.S., Canadian, and UK payroll activities and compliance.

Qualifikationen

• 2–3 years payroll experience in a corporate environment.
• Experience supporting payroll for a multi-state U.S. employee population.
• Experience with payroll taxes.
• U.S. payroll experience required; Canadian payroll experience preferred.
• Strong Excel skills with PivotTables and VLOOKUP.
• UKG Pro experience strongly preferred.

Aufgaben

• Support Semi‑monthly, Bi‑weekly, and Monthly payroll processing by reviewing, validating, and reconciling payroll data.
• Assist with various aspects of U.S., Canadian, and UK payroll administration.
• Support payroll tax activities, including research, reconciliation, reporting, and resolution of payroll tax issues.
• Assist with payroll reporting and prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for the payroll team and other internal stakeholders.
• Review payroll data and identify discrepancies, exceptions, or potential issues requiring investigation.
• Ensure overtime and other payroll earnings are recorded accurately per company policies and laws.
• Analyze, audit, reconcile, and assist in resolving employee payroll issues.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries with clear explanations based on policies and guidelines.
• Work closely with Senior Payroll Specialists and take on more complex tasks as experience grows.
• Partner with Human Resources, Benefits, and other teams on payroll matters.
• Assist with payroll system maintenance, testing, audits, and process improvements.
• Support the payroll team with additional assignments as needed.
• Demonstrate flexibility to take on new tasks as payroll evolves.
