Savannah Technical College is seeking a Payroll Specialist responsible for coordinating and managing payroll operations. This position requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring that payroll, benefits, and related accounting functions are processed accurately and timely.
Note: Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis.
Responsibilities are typically performed in an office setting with the employee intermittently sitting, standing, walking, bending, pushing and pulling. The employee occasionally lifts or moves objects of a light to medium weight. Full range of hand and finger motion is necessary for data entry purposes.
Salary is commensurate with education and work experience. Benefits include paid state holidays, annual and sick leave, and the State of Georgia Flexible Benefits package.

Candidates must pass a criminal background check.
