The ideal candidate has 2+ years of payroll experience, strong Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables), excellent client service, and solid organizational skills to support both clients and internal staff.

• 2+ years of dedicated payroll experience handling high-volume, multi-state processing.
• Strong Excel skills, including proficiency with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables to manage complex data sets.
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proven track record of meeting strict weekly deadlines.
• Excellent client service and communication skills, with the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Payroll Processing: Manage and execute high-volume, multi-state payroll accurately and on time.
• Data Management: Handle, audit, and reconcile large volumes of payroll data originating from multiple software sources.
• Client & Employee Support: Act as the primary point of contact for payroll inquiries, professionally resolving discrepancies and answering questions.
• Reporting & Analysis: Utilize advanced Excel functions to manipulate data, generate reports, and streamline payroll workflows.
• Compliance: Ensure all payroll processing aligns with federal, state, and local multi-state regulations.

• ** Bonus: ** Experience using Claude Cowork is a strong plus.
