Job summary

The Lane Construction Corporation in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Payroll Accountant to validate weekly and monthly payroll, perform GL reconciliations, and resolve payroll issues of varying complexity.

You will assist with software updates, prepare monthly accruals, develop key metrics, and support field teams with questions and training while helping document SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Performs validation of weekly and monthly payroll.
• Performs general ledger account reconciliations.
• Resolves day-to-day payroll issues of varied complexity and scope.
• Assists with software updates and testing.
• Manages unclaimed property.
• Prepares analysis and develops key metrics (e.g., timecard reporting).
• Assists in documentation of department SOPs.
• Assists the field with questions and training.
• Prepares monthly payroll accruals.
• Troubleshoots system and payroll issues.
• Reviews payroll inbox and either addresses or assigns email.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
