Job summary

Concrete Strategies LLC. is seeking a detail-oriented payroll support specialist to handle high-volume data extraction, validation, and entry for weekly payroll processes.

You will liaise with leadership and subcontractors to resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy across payroll submissions. The role requires strong Excel skills, familiarity with Pivot Tables, and the ability to meet tight weekly deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience with payroll data extraction and validation.
• Proficient in Excel, especially Pivot Tables.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Construction payroll experience is preferred (2+ years).
• JD Edwards experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of wage labor laws and union labor compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume payroll data extraction/review/analysis to support weekly payroll.
• Extract/enter data for weekly operational reports.
• Communicate with leadership and subcontractors/vendors to resolve discrepancies in payroll submissions.
• Validate employee time and review processed files for accuracy, performing corrections as needed.
• Carry out other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• High volume of data extraction/review/analysis to assist in processing weekly payroll for the company.
• Data extraction/entry for weekly operational reports.
• Provide verbal and/or correspondence assistance to internal leadership and subcontractors/vendors to resolve discrepancies or inadequacies in their submitted payroll.
• Validation of employee time, review of processed files for accuracy, and corrections as needed.
• Perform other related activities and duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience with using excel (exposure to Tables/Pivot Tables highly preferred)
• Strong, detail-oriented work ethic a must. Self-starter with a well-honed sense of urgency and the ability to regularly meet deadlines
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction payroll preferred
• JD Edwards experience is a plus
• Understanding of entry level accounting.
• Knowledge of wage labor laws and union labor compliance is a plus
