Responsibilities
  • Support time collection activities by reviewing, validating, and troubleshooting time and attendance data.
  • Partner closely with HR, Benefits, and third-party vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate payroll outcomes.
  • Process and maintain payroll exception items, including:
  • Leave of absence pay impacts
  • Third-party sick pay payments
  • One-time payment requests, garnishments
  • Serve as a primary payroll resource for domestic and Puerto Rico employees, responding to payroll-related inquiries with professionalism, discretion, and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Assist with payroll reporting, audits, reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and payroll information.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 for all degrees earned.
  • 3+ years of payroll, HR, or accounting experience.
  • Experience with SAP, ADP/Celergo, or similar payroll systems preferred.
  • Proven attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and ability to reconcile accounts.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred, including the ability to analyze, manipulate, and interpret large data sets.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend process enhancements
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
