Qualifications

• Two year degree in Accounting or related field and 3 years experience processing a weekly payroll for 1100+ employees; or combination of equivalent experience and/or education
• 1 year experience with ADP / Workforce Now and Kronos workforce management
• Knowledge of applicable payroll regulations and reporting requirements

Responsibilities

• Hire, schedule, train, coach, and evaluate staff and conduct performance reviews
• Direct daily work activities and inspect completed work for conformance to standards
• Manage the payroll process to provide accurate and timely disbursements
• Coordinate payment of payroll related taxes and withholdings
• Prepare ledger and W-2 reporting
• Provide supervision and technical knowledge in the payroll area
• Resolve departmental payroll issues
• Coordinate with outside payroll vendor and resolve issues
