Job summary

Treasure Island Resort & Casino in Welch, MN is seeking an experienced Payroll Supervisor to lead and develop the payroll team, ensuring accurate, timely disbursements while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations.

The role requires deep knowledge of payroll systems (ADP/WFN and Kronos), strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage complex payroll processes for 1100+ employees. Flexible scheduling may be necessary.

Qualifications

• 2 year degree in Accounting or related field and 3 years experience processing a weekly payroll for 1100+ employees; or combination of equivalent experience and/or education
• 1 year experience with ADP / Workforce Now and Kronos workforce management
• Knowledge of applicable payroll regulations and reporting requirements

Pay Rate: Starting at $68,640

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Hire, schedule, train, coach, and evaluate staff and conduct performance reviews
• Direct daily work activities and inspect completed work for conformance to standards
• Manage the payroll process to provide accurate and timely disbursements
• Coordinate payment of payroll related taxes and withholdings
• Prepare ledger and W-2 reporting
• Provide supervision and technical knowledge in the payroll area
• Resolve departmental payroll issues

KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge and Certification

Required:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to sit for long periods of time with infrequent amounts of walking and standing
• Must have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend, kneel and stoop infrequently
• Must be able to reach and twist infrequently
• Must be able to push, pull and grasp objects occasionally
• Must have the ability to independently lift up to 10 pounds occasionally
• Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motionsMust have good eye hand coordination

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

• Work is performed primarily in administration building but may include going onto the gaming floor, which includes flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidays
• Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile individuals
