Job summary

CFS in Fishers, IN is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to own end-to-end multi-state payroll processing and drive HRIS optimization.

You will partner with HR, Finance and leadership to ensure accuracy, tax compliance, timely wage payments and process improvements across the organization. You will lead system upgrades, audits, and reporting to maintain compliance and improve payroll workflows, accuracy, and employee experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll experience, including leadership or management responsibilities.
• Hands-on experience with HRIS and payroll platforms (ADP, UKG, Workday, Paycom, Ceridian).
• Knowledge of multi-state payroll processing, taxes and compliance.
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills with a process-improvement mindset.
• CPP certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multi-state employees.
• Serve as the primary administrator for payroll and HRIS systems.
• Ensure payroll accuracy, tax compliance, and timely wage payments.
• Generate payroll, labor, and compliance reporting for leadership.
• Manage payroll audits, reconciliations, garnishments, and year-end processing.
• Partner with HR and IT on HRIS enhancements, integrations, and system upgrades.
