The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting, 5+ years in accounting with leadership experience, and strong analytical and writing skills. CPP is preferred, with flexible duties and occasional after-hours work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Business Administration degree in Accounting from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in an accounting related position with a private, public or governmental entity with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
• CPP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily payroll operations and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage payroll staff and implement payroll policies and procedures.
• Ensure payroll tax filings (W-2, 941) are completed accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with HR to address payroll issues and leave accrual payouts.
• Prepare payroll budget and analyze payroll expenses.
