Job summary

Holley, based in Nashville, TN, seeks a Payroll Manager to own end-to-end payroll operations for U.S. and Canada in partnership with ADP Compensation Services. You will manage payroll processing, compliance, tax administration, and internal controls while supporting 401(k) plan administration and cross-functional governance.

The role requires 7+ years of payroll experience, multi-state expertise, and strong collaboration with HR, Finance, and external vendors in a SOX-like environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field, or equivalent.
• 7+ years in progressive payroll roles with ownership of end-to-end payroll.
• Experience with outsourced payroll providers (ADP strongly preferred).
• Strong knowledge of multi-state wage/hour laws and payroll tax compliance.
• Experience with audits, reconciliations, and internal controls (SOX).
• Experience supporting month-end close and payroll-related journal entries.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll for U.S. and Canada employees, including processing and funding.
• Serve as primary payroll contact with ADP and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure tax compliance, accruals, and payroll-related reporting.
• Administer 401(k) plan and NV, ERISA, Form 5500 coordination.
• Maintain internal controls and assist with SOX testing and remediation.
