Job summary

Solairus Aviation is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead day-to-day payroll operations across all 50 states, handling hourly, salaried, and per diem employees. You will oversee data integrity, timekeeping, reporting, and audits, while guiding a payroll team and coordinating with HR and Finance to ensure accuracy and compliance.

The role reports to the Director, Total Rewards and requires expertise in Paycom or similar HRIS, with strong analytical and leadership skills to drive process improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive payroll experience, preferably multi-state.
• 2 years of supervisory or team management experience in payroll.
• Experience managing payroll across multiple states; 50-state experience preferred.
• Experience with payroll processing, tax rules, and recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and support the payroll team to meet deadlines and audits.
• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees across all 50 states (hourly, salaried, per diem).
• Ensure accurate and on-time payroll in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Oversee payroll data entry, reconciliation, and records maintenance.
• Coordinate with Paycom or other HRIS/payroll providers for tax filings and reporting.
• Support payroll audits and process improvements.
