Job summary

Hamilton Plumbing, Heating, A/C, Rooter is seeking a Payroll Specialist to coordinate payroll for corporate and field employees and to maintain PTO records in a fast-paced environment. You will act as an intermediary between field payroll contacts and ARS payroll, ensuring accurate processing of new hires, hires, terminations and maintenance changes while complying with internal controls.

Responsibilities include administering CPW access levels, distributing calendars, and supporting severance

Qualifications

• HS diploma, or GED equivalent.
• 1 - 3 years of experience in payroll administration are required.
• Must be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate payroll for corporate and field employees and resolve payroll issues.
• Process new hires, rehires, terminations and changes, filing paperwork in personnel files.
• Maintain PTO records and update as needed.
• Administer ARS CPW by assigning access and maintaining rules per senior management guidance.
• Assist with severance calculations and payouts for terminating employees.
• Create and distribute monthly payroll calendar to HR and field payroll contacts.
• Maintain electronic payroll records and related documentation.
• Coordinate corrective actions for payroll reporting discrepancies.
• Research and resolve ACH returns/reversals and reconciliations.
• Process garnishments, liens, and multi-worksite reporting; manage employment tax maintenance and wage verification.
• Provide HR/Payroll support to field and corporate staff.
