Job summary

Workday is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer for their Payroll AI and Data team, to design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions that scale globally. You will collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and data scientists to turn HR and payroll data into useful product experiences.

You will use Workday’s AI environment to explore data, build models, evaluate performance, and bring ML capabilities into production, enabling predictive analytics and intelligent recommendations for

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience on data science, ML, or software teams.
• 3+ years Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar).
• 3+ years working with large-scale datasets, data modeling or transformation.
• 3+ years building, evaluating, or productizing ML models.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI/ML solutions for enterprise payroll products at global scale.
• Explore and transform HR/Payroll datasets for ML use cases.
• Design, build, evaluate, and improve ML models and prompts.
