Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of payroll experience handling multi-state payroll.
  • Experience with payroll tax and wage-hour regulations.
  • Experience with payroll systems implementations, upgrades, or enhancements.
  • CPP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing to ensure accurate, timely pay for team members.
  • Administer payroll systems, preserving data integrity and policy compliance.
  • Review and validate payroll data for hires, transfers, changes, leaves, and separations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal/state/local payroll taxes, wage & hour rules.
  • Process and reconcile payroll deductions, garnishments, taxes, and benefits.
  • Support payroll audits and respond to internal/external requests.
  • Develop, implement, and improve payroll procedures and controls.
