Job summary

The Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority is seeking a Payroll Manager and HRIS System Administrator to lead biweekly payroll, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize processes across HR and finance.

You'll serve as the UKG Payroll and HRIS expert, configure security and workflows, manage modules, and develop BI reports and dashboards to support accurate reporting and audits. A CPP certification or progress toward it is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or equivalent.
• 5 years payroll processing and HRIS experience.
• 2 years direct people management experience.
• Preferred: 7 years payroll processing and HRIS.
• Preferred: 4 years direct people management.
• Preferred: experience with UKG or similar HRIS.
• CPP Certification required or able to obtain within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Lead biweekly payroll processing and related activities.
• Ensure compliance with payroll laws and year-end filings.
• Serve as UKG Payroll and HRIS System Administrator.
• Manage UKG modules: Payroll, Time Management, Benefits, Talent, Recruiting/Onboarding.
• Identify opportunities to streamline payroll and HRIS processes.
• Develop UKG BI reports, dashboards, alerts.
• Maintain payroll controls and assist audits.
• Supervise payroll staff and provide training.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance and other departments.
• Provide training and ongoing support to employees and managers.
