Job summary

Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee our biweekly payroll operations, ensure accuracy, and maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

The role also serves as UKG HRIS System Administrator, handling configuration, security, workflows, data integrity, reporting, and audits, while collaborating with HR and Finance to drive process improvements and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• 5 years of payroll processing experience.
• 2 years of direct people management experience.
• Experience with UKG or a similar HRIS.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• CPP certification or ability to obtain within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Lead biweekly payroll processing and related activities.
• Ensure compliance with payroll laws and year-end filings.
• Serve as UKG HRIS System Administrator for configuration and security.
• Manage UKG modules including Payroll, Time Management, Benefits, Talent, and Recruiting/Onboarding.
• Identify opportunities to streamline payroll and HRIS processes.
• Develop UKG BI reports, dashboards, and automated alerts.
• Establish payroll controls and support audits.
• Supervise payroll staff and provide training.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance and departments on payroll/HRIS needs.
• Provide training and troubleshooting as SME for payroll/HRIS.
