Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive payroll experience, including leading a payroll team or large-scale operation.
• Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll, payroll tax compliance, wage and hour regulations.
• Experience with payroll system implementations, process improvement, automation, in manufacturing/complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day payroll operations for a large multi-state, multi-location employee base, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
• Manage payroll compliance, tax requirements, wage and hour regulations, audits, reconciliations, and year-end reporting.
• Lead and develop the payroll team in collaboration with HR, Finance, Benefits, and other leaders.
• Drive payroll system enhancements, process improvements, automation, and standardization to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Serve as payroll SME and advise on policies, reporting, compliance, and complex issues.
