Job summary

Selby Jennings is seeking a Payroll Manager to own payroll operations across a multi-entity environment in a fast-growing, private equity-backed organization. This hands-on role emphasizes building processes, improving systems, and taking full ownership of payroll from end to end.

You will manage payroll processing across multiple states, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, configure HRIS/HCM payroll modules, reconcile data, and partner with HR and Finance on

• 5+ years of end-to-end payroll experience.
• Experience across multiple entities and/or states.
• Strong payroll tax and compliance knowledge.
• Experience with HRIS/HCM payroll systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
