Base pay range

$115,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Payroll Manager in Silver Spring, MD. Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the timely and accurate processing of payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with company policies, government regulations, and collective bargaining agreements (if applicable)
2. Process employee wages, deductions, bonuses, commissions, benefits, and tax withholdings
3. Manage payroll data entry, adjustments, corrections, and reconciliations

Compliance & Reporting

1. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, labor laws, and other relevant payroll-related requirements
2. Generate and submit required payroll-related reports (e.g., tax filings, year-end forms such as W-2s and 1099s)
3. Maintain accurate records of payroll transactions for auditing and reporting purposes

Requirements

1. BS degree
2. 10 years of experience
3. Large ERP system experience
4. High-volume in-house payroll experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
