Base pay range

$130,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

SUMMARY

A dynamic and confidential search is underway for a seasoned Payroll Manager to lead end-to-end payroll operations and benefits administration. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-state environment and values accuracy, confidentiality, and ownership. This individual will manage all payroll functions while also overseeing the full cycle of employee benefits programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process multi-state payroll using Paylocity or ADP with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
  • Handle all payroll-related reporting, audits, and reconciliations
  • Administer employee benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k), COBRA, and leave programs
  • Serve as the point of contact for employee questions regarding payroll and benefits
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure alignment of payroll and benefits processes
  • Maintain detailed documentation for all payroll and benefits activities
  • Stay informed of regulatory changes that impact payroll and benefits compliance

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in payroll and benefits administration
  • Expertise in multi-state payroll processing; Paylocity or ADP experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of employee benefits, enrollment, and compliance
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information discreetly
  • Advanced Excel and systems skills; familiarity with HRIS systems a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field preferred
