My client is seeking aPayroll Manager to take ownership of a complex, high-volume multi-state payroll function for a rapidly growing organization. This newly created role will focus on managing payroll for a large hourly, non-exempt workforce while partnering closely with an outsourced payroll provider, with the long-term goal of building and scaling an internal payroll team. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments, is comfortable navigating ambiguity, and has a proven track record of creating structure, improving processes, and driving payroll operations through periods of growth and change. Experience with multi-state payroll, hourly employee populations, and payroll systems such as Rippling is highly preferred. This is a highly visible, on-site opportunity based in Soho, 5 days onsite, that offers the chance to help shape the future of the payroll function as the organization continues to expand.
