Role Description

The Payroll Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Missoula, MT, responsible for overseeing end-to-end payroll operations for multiple clients. This role includes processing regular and off-cycle payrolls, maintaining accurate payroll records, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Day-to-day tasks involve managing employee data changes, coordinating with clients on payroll schedules, resolving payroll discrepancies, and handling inquiries related to pay and benefits. The Payroll Manager will also collaborate with the bookkeeping and tax teams to ensure payroll data is correctly integrated into financial reports and tax filings, while supporting process improvements and documentation.
