JobSummary:

ThePayrollManagerwilloverseeandsupervisetheorganization’spayrollfunctions,ensuringpayisprocessedontime,accurately,andincompliancewithgovernmentregulationsincludingbutnotlimitedtoprevailingwagelaws,whereapplicable.

SupervisoryResponsibilities:

• Recruits,interviews,hires,andtrainsnewstaffinthedepartment.
• Overseesthedailyworkflowofthedepartment.
• Providesconstructiveandtimelyperformanceevaluations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Implements,maintains,andreviewspayrollprocessingsystemstoensuretimelyandaccurateprocessingofpayrolltransactionsincludingsalaries,benefits,garnishments,taxes,andotherdeductions.
• Ensuresaccurateandtimelyprocessingofpayrollupdatesincludingnewhires,terminations,andchangestopayrates.
• Preparesandmaintainsaccuraterecordsandreportsofpayrolltransactions.
• Ensurescompliancewithfederal,state,andlocalpayroll,wage,andhourlawsandbestpractices.
• Reviewandauditssubcontractorpayrollcompliancedocumentsforassignedprojects.
• ReviewsandpreparesWorker'sCompensationinsurancecarriermonthlypayrollsubmittals.
• Facilitatesauditsbyprovidingrecordsanddocumentationtoauditors.
• Identifiesandrecommendsupdatestopayrollprocessingsoftware,systems,andprocedures.
• Performsotherdutiesasassigned.
