Job summary

Hunter+Sage is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead the payroll function across multiple states and FEINs. The role requires strong ADP Workforce Now expertise, a proven ability to manage weekly and biweekly cycles, and experience in both union and non-union environments.

Qualifications

• ADP Workforce Now experience is required.
• Experience with mid-size to large companies is required.
• Strong multi-state and multi-FEIN payroll experience.
• Experience with weekly and/or biweekly payroll.
• Experience in union and non-union environments preferred.
• Certified payroll reporting (CPR) and prevailing wage experience strongly preferred.
• CPP certification preferred.
• Degree preferred but experience considered in lieu.
• Strong leadership presence and professionalism.
• Onsite work Mon-Fri 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Our client, a growing industrial sector organization, is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead and strengthen its payroll function. This is a highly visible opportunity for a seasoned payroll professional who brings strong technical expertise, leadership presence, and a high level of professionalism.

The Payroll Manager will oversee multi-state, multi-FEIN payroll operations while providing leadership to the existing payroll function and helping establish scalable processes to support continued organizational growth.

• Partner with HR and leadership on payroll-related matters, compliance, reporting, and employee inquiries.
• Help scale payroll operations as the organization grows.
