KBW Financial Staffing is partnering with a well-established hospitality company in Boston, MA to hire a Payroll Manager. This on-site role is 5x a week in Boston and offers compensation of $120-130K plus bonus.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of full-cycle payroll experience, multi-entity payroll management, and strong knowledge of federal/state payroll tax regulations. Proficiency with ADP/Paychex/Paylocity/UKG and advanced Excel is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience with full-cycle responsibilities.
• Experience managing payroll across multiple entities or EINs.
• Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state payroll tax regulations and compliance.
• Proficiency with payroll systems such as ADP, Paychex, Paylocity, UKG or similar platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills with payroll reconciliations, year-end reporting and audits.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for a multi-unit workforce, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Manage employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, pay changes, tax elections, and garnishments.
• Reconcile payroll, resolve discrepancies, and process off-cycle payments as needed.
• Prepare year-end payroll reporting, support audits, and respond to payroll tax inquiries.
• Partner with HR to administer employee benefits, reconcile benefit deductions, and support open enrollment and ACA reporting.

Experience Required

• 5+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience, including full-cycle payroll responsibilities.
• Experience managing payroll across multiple entities or EINs.
• Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state payroll tax regulations and compliance.
• Proficiency with payroll systems such as ADP, Paychex, Paylocity, UKG, or similar platforms.
