AMP: AI-Powered Sortation for Waste and Recycling is seeking a Payroll Lead to drive payroll accuracy and regulatory compliance from our Louisville, CO headquarters with a hybrid work model. You will oversee tax setups, timekeeping data, and year-end processes, while coordinating audits and enhancements to our payroll system.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of payroll experience, strong Excel and payroll system knowledge (TriNet, NetSuite a plus), and excellent communication skills.

• 4-6 years of payroll administration experience.
• Proficiency with payroll practices and tax laws.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage company setup for city, state, and department of revenue payroll taxes.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, tax, and deductions.
• Collect and verify employee and timekeeping data; review semi-monthly pay runs.
• Assist with 401(k) process and audits (e.g., 401(k), workers’ compensation).
• Prepare payroll reports for management and audits; journal entries and month-end reconciliations.
