The role

Manages payroll processing and compliance across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. Acts as a key link between finance and people teams on payroll-related matters.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on schedule across relevant jurisdictions
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax, pension, and payroll legislation
• Liaise with HR and finance to resolve payroll discrepancies
• Maintain accurate payroll records and supporting documentation
• Respond to employee payroll queries in a timely, professional manner
• Stay current on relevant payroll and tax legislation changes

Requirements

• Proven experience processing payroll, across UK and US at minimum
• Working knowledge of US and/or UK payroll and tax requirements
• Experience with payroll and accounting software
• High level of accuracy and confidentiality
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Clear, professional communication skills
• Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent)
