Job summary

Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a payroll configuration specialist for its Brotherhood Works - Payroll & HR team. You will tailor ministry payroll settings, including earnings, benefit deductions, and tax withholdings, and ensure accurate pay history with filings.

You will educate clients on tax topics and payroll processes within MinistryWorks. Responsibilities include leading client setup and test payrolls, guiding through implementation, and collaborating with Tax to ensure

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or two years of advanced education in business, accounting, HR or related field.
• At least two years of payroll, finance, HR or business experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationship through implementation from conference call to first payroll.
• Conduct a test payroll with client approval and finalize configuration.
• Educate clients on IRS/state/local regulations and MinistryWorks features.
• Execute processing of the first payroll and ensure accurate pay history.
• Collaborate with Manager and Tax Department on tax research and configuration.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll information and respond to routine client questions.
