Job summary

Bystronic Inc. is seeking an hands-on HR operations professional to own biweekly payroll, benefits administration and HRIS data integrity. You’ll ensure accurate payroll, smooth onboarding, and responsive employee support across the lifecycle.

You will partner with HR, Finance and managers, while continuously improving payroll workflows and data quality in UKG. This role requires multi-state payroll experience and a collaborative, detail‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Accounting, Finance or related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• 3+ years of experience in payroll, HR operations, benefits administration or a combined HR/payroll role; multi-state payroll experience strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with an HRIS/payroll system; UKG experience is a strong plus.
• Experience supporting a manufacturing, technical or multi-location workforce is helpful.
• CPP, FPC, SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Own accurate, timely biweekly payroll processing for multi-state employees.
• Administer employee benefits and support enrollment, eligibility and life events.
• Maintain HR data in UKG, including hires, changes, timekeeping, payroll, benefits and separations.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, ensuring a smooth employee lifecycle.
• Partner with HR, Finance, managers and employees to improve processes and the employee experience.
