Job summary

RISE A Real Estate Company is seeking an HR Generalist to own payroll administration, employee relations, and HR policy guidance. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and timely problem solving to support a distributed real estate organization.

You will partner with the HR Director and a peer HR Generalist to ensure payroll, onboarding, leave, benefits, and offboarding are managed with clear ownership and auditable records. A strong governance mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience as HR Generalist, payroll, or HR operations.
• Experience reviewing timekeeping, payroll reports, and employee changes.
• Experience handling employee-relations matters and coaching managers.
• Knowledge of HR compliance and policy application.
• PHR/SPHR/SHRM certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own payroll calendar, review, approve, and finalize payroll.
• Audit timekeeping, pay, deductions, and employee changes for accuracy.
• Coach managers through performance, conduct, and attendance issues.
• Conduct workplace investigations and maintain confidential documentation.
• Maintain HRIS accuracy and ensure proper record-keeping.
• Provide coverage during high-volume periods and document processes.
