Job summary

Insperity is seeking a Payroll Advisor to provide timely and accurate payroll guidance and solutions to client companies. You will troubleshoot issues, educate clients, and partner with stakeholders to deliver compliant payroll services across multiple states.

In this role, you will mentor payroll team members, drive process improvements, and ensure SOX controls and governance are adhered to. A focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement is essential to success in this position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Three to five years of progressive payroll or relevant business experience is required.
• Strong proficiency and experience in payroll administration and practices; knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple internal and external teams to ensure quality, unified service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates payroll processes and ensures timely and accurate delivery.
• Manages client relationships and delivers payroll solutions for Workday clients across locations.
• Collaborates with Payroll Project Managers and HCM Analysts to implement client-specific payroll enhancements.
• Onboards and maintains assigned clients to payroll and related services across multiple states/localities.
• Assesses payroll needs and recommends solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Acts as quality analyst for payroll processing and balances audits.
