The candidate should have 2+ years in payroll/general ledger work, strong Excel skills, and the ability to handle confidential information in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of payroll processing and/or general ledger experience
• Knowledge of payroll deductions, taxes, and compliance
• Experience with payroll/accounting platforms and Excel proficiency
• Strong numerical, analytical, and time-management skills
• Accurate, discreet, and able to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment
• Clear written and verbal communication and teamwork across departments
• Ability to learn systems quickly and handle sensitive information

Responsabilités

• Maintain general ledger accounts and post journal entries
• Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts; research discrepancies
• Support month-end and year-end close with schedules and documentation
• Process payroll entries, review time records, deductions, taxes, and benefits
• Reconcile payroll to GL and prepare year-end reports (W-2s, 1099s)
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Respond professionally to inquiries and assist with special accounting projects
