Job summary

Aalo Atomics is seeking a Payroll and Equity Coordinator based in the United States, with on-site work in Austin, TX. The role combines equity plan administration with payroll accounting to ensure seamless month-end close and audit readiness.

You will manage equity grants in Carta, handle payroll postings to the GL, and produce reconciliations and analysis for management sign-off. A strong focus on detail and cross-system reconciliation is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined experience across payroll accounting and equity plan administration.
• Hands-on experience with a cap table platform (Carta strongly preferred) and a modern payroll/HRIS platform (Rippling a plus).
• Knowledge of ISO vs NSO treatment, RSU withholding, and Form 3921 reporting.
• Solid GL accounting fundamentals and month-end close processes.

Responsibilities

• Own equity administration end-to-end in Carta and reconcile with HRIS and general ledger.
• Bridge equity events (grants, exercises, vesting) into payroll and tax reporting.
• Post payroll entries, maintain account mappings, and ensure payroll and GL tie out.
